wp link to possible irl tree species?

So it looks like the tree is based on two possible trees which are both actually dogwoods but called red willow colloquially. They are used to make Kinnikinnick, a herbal smoking mxiture,said to have medicinal and spiritual properties. Both are pretty small though, 3 - 4 meters in height. Cornus amomum is probably the most likely as its native to the eastern NA, whereas Cornus sericea is native to north and west NA. Further away is Salix laevigata (a larger tree, growing to 14m) found in the southwest US.V i l k a T h e W o l f (talk) 07:48, October 27, 2019 (UTC)
