Relevancy[edit source]
This monk is a secondary character who makes at best a few seconds cameo in AC: Lineage, and all we know is that he existed and copied the letter Giovanni intercepted. We can't even pinpoint his affiliation to House of Medici just because Uberto via Antonio Maffei requested his services for one job for Lorenzo. Also, "Fray" is not part of his name, as it's one of many ways in Italian to say Friar/father/priest. – Darman (talk) 15:25, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
- I agree with Darman, this seems unnecessary. - Soranin (talk) 23:52, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
- Darman, I just want to point out that "relevancy", which is the word you have used for the deletion proposal of articles on extras several times now, is not the right word to use in this scenario. Characters who have only received a one-line mention or is a background civilian or mook is still relevant to Assassin's Creed by virtue of being present in Assassin's Creed. The reasoning you are looking for is not "relevancy" but that the character is too inconsequential to deserve an article. I am undecided on whether we should prohibit articles on characters this minor in role, but I lean against it because we already have articles on many historical figures mentioned merely once in database entries. At a certain point, it also becomes too arbitrary to decide which character meets the criteria for inclusion or not. The real cause to delete this article would be if the character has not even been identified in any source. Can the name Raimondi be verified? (And if it can be verified, like in the credits, then it most certainly deserves to stay). Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 03:09, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
