Order of the Garter

Could the name of this order acually be the Victorian Era version of the real-world Order of the Garter, founded by Edward III in 1348? SkyGuy-Let's chat! 01:01, October 25, 2015 (UTC)

Could be, though Evie receives the title of "Dame" after being knighted like most other orders of Knighthood/Damehood, unlike the real Order of the Garter, where women are given the title of "Lady". -- Zero-ELEC (talk) 04:32, October 25, 2015 (UTC)

It is obviously named after the Shroud of Eden but it's a secret organisation, as if people knew the Order was made up of Assassins they would be compromised, and that's maybe why she's given the title of Dame (also maybe because they only met the night before as women made 'Lady' usually know the Queen for ages prior of the title).
