Research Analyst

Is there a reason they have 2 different Research Analyst when they are pretty similar except in the diary part. --Cococrash11 (talk) 19:18, November 14, 2015 (UTC)

None that I can really think of - I guess they thought it unrealistic that the Research Analyst from Black Flag would stay at Abstergo knowing what they do? Crook ^{The Constantine District} 19:21, November 14, 2015 (UTC)

I may be mistaken, but I believe some writer of this or that said they were different Research Analysts. But I'm not sure, who, where, when or even if. Amnestyyy (Contact me!) <helper /> 19:26, November 14, 2015 (UTC)

The first analyst ended up working with the Assassins, more or less. Even considered leaving but there was still much wire to be done. The other one thinks of the Assassins as parasites and that the Templars protect the second analyst, the second analyst(based on the diary) seems to be considering joining the Templars. "Numbskull"

If we're being technical, this article should be titled Numbskull because by standard wiki sourcing policy, no matter how silly or informal a name is, if it's sourced, it takes precedent over an unsourced, conjectural one. I say this even in spite of the fact I absolutely hate Violet da Costa (probably one of my all-time most hated characters in the series) and by extension, I hate this nickname she uses for this character just because she uses it. I am bringing up a parallel case for the [[Abstergo Entertainment research analyst whose article should be at Noob for the same reason. I suppose Lazy Eye is the same case as these two since it's Altaïr's original nickname for someone who almost certainly did not use it himself. A more pragmatic reason for using Numbskull and Noob is that the current names we use are wordy and may cause a lot of confusion especially since the Helix research analyst is also a research analyst for Abstergo Entertainment.
