His fate[edit source]

We need to find a way to rewrite the last paragraph of his biography section to not include conditionals like “if he was spared”. That’s too OOU. We should also figure out how we want to mention his inclusion into DoR. Probably a legacy section but I'm not sure how to frame it. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 15:07, 2 July 2022 (UTC)

Maybe we can use, like the articles mission, tabs showing the two choices? Francesco75 (talk) 16:46, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
That works for mission articles because it shows that Layla can experience or choose either scenario but it doesn’t work for biography articles because regardless what Layla saw Leofirth only had a single end; we just don't know what it is. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 21:02, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
Just to help clear up how exactly Leofrith appears in Ragnarök, it's as one of the simulants that Odin must fight in Kára's Domain during "The Midgard Challengers". So is Odin seeing a ghostly vision of Leofrith millennia before he's born? Or is the Isu-made Simulant filtered through Eivor's eyes to be Leofrith? Note that Odin never names his adversaries unless they're Isu or Muspel, he only implies who they are. – Darman (talk) 21:35, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
I think there is agency in Eivor's visions similar to how there is some agency to Animus simulations. So I think her own experiences are bleeding over here into these tales. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 03:05, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
That's what I was thinking, too. I doubt Odin would have premonitions of specific humans (see "The Fallen Warriors", "The Midgard War Party", and "The Great Swamp Witches" for the rest) to fight from so far in the future, nor would he likely care which mere mortal(s) it was so long as he was victorious and won glory. – Darman (talk) 04:40, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
