Talk:Isabelle Ardant
Unity[edit source]
Hey,
I realise that Isabelle is the person who wrote this, so, now we can improve this page. DipsonDP (talk) 02:53, October 13, 2015 (UTC)
- Feel free to take the initiative Dipson. In the time it took you to write this message, you were free to add the information yourself. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 14:10, October 13, 2015 (UTC)
- That's why i didn't added the info myself from the beginning, my writting "style" is different from the wiki's. I guess i can continue editing if Stormbeast and Boc don't mind correcting DipsonDP (talk) 01:24, October 16, 2015 (UTC)
- That's okay, Dipson, wiki editing is a community effort :P Other people will add to or change your writing if necessary. Crook The Constantine District 08:26, October 16, 2015 (UTC)
Dead?[edit source]
How is she not dead? When Shaun himself says they should kill the Templars in the vault, then stabs Isabelle with his Shock Blade, she must have been killed. He wouldn't have said that unless he meant it, especially considering how she was a high-ranking Templar.--Bovkaffe (talk) 14:27, October 26, 2015 (UTC)
I agree with BOV. Da Costa is who delivery the shroud to Gramática and she does not appear. Spanish assassin (Talk) 14:33, October 26, 2015 (UTC)
I agree too. She was stabbed and electrocuted. She must be dead. V0idn3ss (talk) 14:40, October 26, 2015 (UTC)
- An electric shock of any strength does not automatically kill you. Granted, the shock may have been (and probably was) strong enough to kill Ardant, given that corresponds with Shaun's comment beforehand, but without conclusive proof of her death, we cannot state it as fact. Unless of course you want to say Juhani Otso Berg is also dead, because he was knocked out by an Assassin intending to kill him? (A change none of you have made to his article.) --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 15:38, October 27, 2015 (UTC)
- There is a very clear difference between getting knocked out and getting stabbed in the spine and being electrocuted by a probably high-voltage device, don't you think? We can't be sure Desmond is really dead too, still he most likely is. And the best thing is: If we were incorrect, we could still edit the article. Crazy, right? Pipewrench (talk) 15:44, October 27, 2015 (UTC)
- I don't know where you are getting this idea that she also got stabbed from, as the cinematic does not show Shaun using a Hidden Blade at all. She was electrocuted, that is all. Electrocution =/= death.
- As for Desmond, the man's corpse was literally ripped apart by Abstergo whilst they performed his autopsy. That guy is most certainly dead. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 15:53, October 27, 2015 (UTC
- As for the Shock Blade: http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Hidden_Blade#Shock_Blade Pipewrench (talk) 16:19, October 27, 2015 (UTC)
- What am I suppose to be looking at, exactly? --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 16:21, October 27, 2015 (UTC)

- That looks absolutely nothing like the device Shaun uses in-game... --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 16:31, October 27, 2015 (UTC)

- I don't think the fancy "Electric Blade" is a confirmed fatal weapon,in addition, the wielder is Shaun. For comparison,Woodes Rogers even survived the memory corridor scene.Sleeplust (talk) 03:43, October 31, 2015 (UTC)
- I know this doesn´t changes anything, but she is clearly dead. At first, i thought the Shock Blade to be just a device that gave people electric shocks, but then i saw the Artwork, and i realised about those 2 sharp blades. As Jasca said, the Blade doesn't looks like the in-game version, but it really does. Look at Rebecca's blade when she and Shaun are facing Isabelle, and you'll notice the blades. Still, we need more proof than that to confirm her death. DipsonDP (talk) 22:22, November 25, 2015 (UTC)
Chu's Chinese form.[edit source]
Isabelle Ardant's Chinese matronymic,Chu,can be "朱" in Wade-Giles spelling system or "楚" in Pinyin,both are ordinary family names.This can be a good trivia.Sleeplust (talk) 11:37, November 1, 2015 (UTC)
- What would her surname mean in those spellings? Crook The Constantine District 11:45, November 1, 2015 (UTC)
- The first one,"朱(spelled Zhu in Pinyin)",means red, scarlet. The latter,"楚 ",one of kingdoms/states in Zhou dynasty .Several other surnames are pronounced the same or similarly, but rarer.Sleeplust (talk) 13:54, November 2, 2015 (UTC)
- Feel free to add it to trivia, we can polish it up if need be :) Crook The Constantine District 13:58, November 2, 2015 (UTC)
British Assassins and Templars[edit source]
Wouldn’t the full list of Templars and Assassins be better trivia?
The list is made up from characters from AC, 3, 4, Rogue, Pirates, Legacy, Unity, Memories, and Syndicate.
It’s a lot more interesting than just saying she had a list of British Assassins and Templars.Hugues de Payens (talk) 17:57, December 26, 2015 (UTC)
- The list can easily be viewed on the British Assassins and Templars articles - there's no reason to list them both in their entirety on Ardant's trivia section as well, in my opinion. Crook The Constantine District 18:04, December 26, 2015 (UTC)
- So should the fact that she has a list of British Assassins and Templars even be in trivia then? The names on the list are more trivia than the fact that she had a list.Hugues de Payens (talk) 18:36, December 28, 2015 (UTC)
- I'm ambivalent - you can delete it if you want, or keep it as it is. Crook The Constantine District 18:42, December 28, 2015 (UTC)
