Removing citations

Lol-ionel, I am utterly perplexed by your removal of a citation with the comment "that seems right if he found the source". If you thought that he did right by finding the source, then it won't it make sense to leave his citation, whose format I was only correcting? Instead, you removed it. Although another user properly reverted it back, I'm interested in hearing your explanation for this. Sol Pacificus^(Cyfiero) 05:42, January 30, 2018 (UTC)

The issue wasn't that it was wrong for him to provide a source—sources are required. The issue is that you actually did entirely the opposite: remove a source in response to me fixing it. Sol Pacificus^(Cyfiero) 06:19, January 30, 2018 (UTC)

Hey Lionel, many apologies for responding to your recommendation weeks late. I just would like you know that we've taken it into consideration, and we agree that Piero is a long time contributor of this wiki of many years who has been very helpful with maintenance edits across thousands of pages, and this perseverance is something to be recognized.
