Conjecture

Doesn’t one of the loading screen blurbs mention them by name? Would that be enough to say it’s not conjecture? Lacrossedeamon (talk) 16:09, February 4, 2019 (UTC)

The blurb calls them "Unusual Distance Markers" and "Hermaic pillars". Not herma(e). Considered using the 'Hermaic pillar(s)', but figured that like with Charon, better go with the appropriate term. Sadelyrate (siniath) 16:48, February 4, 2019 (UTC)

Quest posts

So do the statues we pick quests up at count as well. They are obviously Hermes too but are spruced up because we are in fantasy Greece. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 18:59, May 20, 2020 (UTC)

They’re covered by message boards. They’re flat out statues of Hermes, not herms, the rectangular pillars with the head (and phallus) of Hermes/Herakles/etc. Sadelyrate (siniath) 20:31, May 20, 2020 (UTC)

I find it odd (or at least lazy) that they just reused the same god but spruced up a bit. Of course message board like that are such a historical fantasy trope I believe. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 20:58, May 20, 2020 (UTC)
