Talk:Great Catastrophe
Merge With 1st Disaster?[edit source]
Should this article be merged with the First Disaster article? I think they both refer to the same thing, and they're both short enough to be combined. Smoke3723 00:29, June 20, 2011 (UTC)
- I just updated and slightly expanded the article, but I agree that it should probably be merged into the First Disaster article based on Revelations. It could simply be a sentence with a link to the Wikipedia article, such as, "Subject 16 suggested that the First Disaster had been incorrectly attributed to the Toba volcanic supereruption, which occurred 77,000-69,000 years ago and supposedly induced climate change that reduced the worldwide human population to less than 10,000 individuals." —Helmandsare 09:38, November 22, 2011 (UTC)
- I agree. --Alientraveller 17:48, December 4, 2011 (UTC)
AC:I Timeline[edit source]
Would the new AC:Initiates timeline be a suitable referance for dates?SkytowerC (talk) 01:51, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
Woman in ACR[edit source]
I'm quite certain the black-haired woman seen during the disaster in Revelations is Eve. I'm sure someone will argue that there's no proof of that, but I'd like to make two points. First, why would they bother focusing on this one woman if it wasn't someone important? And who do we know of from this time setting other than Adam, Eve, and TOWCB? Second, and perhaps more importantly, compare these two pictures:
Aside from a slight difference in hairstyles, they look exactly alike. They have the same face. Ergo, it is a perfectly logical conclusion that they are the same person. Guardian Assassin (talk) 23:48, October 25, 2012 (UTC)
No, it could be a cultural thing about the hairstyle so you will need to provide a source stating it is her in ACR or it isn't. Also the focus on her in ACR could be for emotional impact! ► Kaloneous ◄ ♣HelpDesk♣ 23:57, October 25, 2012 (UTC)
The facial features differ. The second woman is not Eve. Slate Vesper (talk) 00:00, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
Yes it is. Compare the nose, the lips, the jaw line, what you can see of the ears. The eyes, granted, are slightly different, but this could just as easily be attributed to changes in the graphics. Guardian Assassin (talk) 10:17, November 17, 2012 (UTC)
- You can theorize all you want, if it is not explicitly stated, it's not going on any page. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 10:27, November 17, 2012 (UTC)
- I don't consider it a theory so much as common sense...but whatever you say. Guardian Assassin (talk) 22:26, November 17, 2012 (UTC)
- And how exactly does your speculation rule out the possibility of it being any other woman? Because I don't see how it is 'common sense' rather than mere speculation. While they do look similar, there is no way to be sure until it is explicitly stated. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 23:20, November 17, 2012 (UTC)
