Muskets/Rifles?[edit source]
so is it confirmed/possible to carry and use a rifle/musket at any time in AC:3 ? Or must it be picked up from a dead enemy and then dropped sooner or later? 86.135.13.3 20:22, April 3, 2012 (UTC)
Muskets CAN be picked up[edit source]
So..... After the "Faithful Acolyte" gameplay on IGN, and Gamespots Inside Assassin's Creed 3 I guess it is okay to add that both Aveline and Connor could carry Muskets on their backs. ThatRandomUser ~Lair of Randomness (Enter at own risk) 05:45, August 23, 2012 (UTC)
French Coat Pistol[edit source]
Where it says that the dual pistol are only single shot, i crafted the french coat pistols and they hold two shots each (if you have the double holster), Although, due to a glitch one is removed and replaced with the Pitcairn-Putnam Pistol.Trever09 A place for Chivalry | Blog 22:05, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
I've had similar issues with the glitch. The second pistol is commonly swapped to the last pistol (except the type you're equipped with) that you used. Eg when I use two Putnam's one becomes a double-barrel and vice versa. Eggy2504 (talk) 22:09, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
Just in case...[edit source]
Just in case anyone was curious, the technique Desmond uses when he is using Cross' pistol (a H&K Mark 23), is known as the Middle Eastern Techniques, which involves ejected a round from the gun's chamber even if there is one already in it. It always assures you have a round chambered, but offers a slower ROF then possible, which is why the developers decided to use it. 01:03, November 14, 2012 (UTC)72.94.162.30
Minor Historical Inacuarrcies [edit source]
When soldiers form a Firing Line you could hear Soldiers saying "Take Aim". Just a Correction that soldiers back in the day didn't take aim because fire arms back then was very inaccurate. Their actual comand was "Present". User:LordHighSubtitute/Nemo me impune lacessit 14:44, December 19, 2012 (UTC)
Statistics[edit source]
This page should have a statistics section like the other weapon pages, since there are many different types of firearms in the Assassin's Creed series. SkyGuy-Let's chat! 01:09, May 5, 2014 (UTC)
stats just created, please add any missing data. Boyd Seabiscuit (talk) 13:31, May 13, 2014 (UTC)
Air Rifle[edit source]
Should Shay's air rifle be on this page? A firearm is defined as a weapon that uses gunpowder or some other compound to launch projectiles at a high velocity. However, an air rifle uses compressed air to force a projectile out, so techniqually it is not a firearm per se. So should we include the air rifle on this page? - I wouldn't say so. --Crimson Knight Intercom 21:45, October 24, 2014 (UTC)
- It might be an idea to create a projectile weapons page, perhaps including the blowpipe and air rifle? Slate Vesper (talk) 11:15, October 25, 2014 (UTC)
