Unknown Insignia[edit source]

Maybe it's just me, but the "unknown insignia" tattoo looks like it's just the Assassin's Insignia done in a tribal style, since tribal tattoos are one of the more common types of tattoo. I highly doubt it's the modern day assassins' insignia or something. LordSchmee (talk) 19:11, November 12, 2012 (UTC)

PS: Also edited the claim that Desmond wore an Assassin Insignia tattoo, I don't know if my summary went through so posting the reason here:

Removed the claim that Desmond had an assassins logo tattoo'd on him. This is his tattoo:

Moreover, Desmond would not have an assassin tattoo; he didn't associate with them until his abduction by Abstergo, and has not had the time to get a tattoo since then as he's been stuck in the animus long-term, and in hiding. Unless you think that Rebecca used her rad tattooing skills to give him one while he was comatose. LordSchmee (talk) 19:11, November 12, 2012 (UTC)

Levantine Assassin Insignia[edit source]

Shouldn't there be a picture of a normal Assassin Insignia as the levantine assassins normal one and the one with the square as the Alternate one, because i'm sure that one was only flew in the fortress.Trever09 A place for Chivalry | Blog 16:15, November 12, 2012 (UTC)

American Assassin insignia needs editing[edit source]

The American Assassin insignia is fully symmetrical; the inner vertex at the peak should not be off-center.

Insignia at Monteriggioni?[edit source]

Shouldn't the insignia seen upon the banners/flags at Monteriggioni after its restoration be included here, too? Sadelyrate (talk) 12:34, January 28, 2013 (UTC)

Pirate Assassin Insignia?[edit source]

Hey, what about the Pirate insignia? With Edward Kenway during the Golden Age of Piracy? Dafuq?PatriotJager150 (talk) 21:08, April 19, 2013 (UTC) PatriotJager

If you have an official clear image of that insignia, then by all means, add it to the page. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 21:11, April 19, 2013 (UTC)
Sorry: a good, sourced image, not some random low quality one plucked from the internet. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 21:17, April 19, 2013 (UTC)
Man, that made me laugh :,) --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 22:57, April 19, 2013 (UTC)
I'm sure laughing at new members here is the perfect way to encourage new editors to come and try to help. I see no flaw in that logic. --Crimson Knight Intercom 23:25, April 19, 2013 (UTC)

Caribbean Insignia[edit source]

If you go to tulum you can see the insignia, its looks standard with two small designs either side, why has this not been added?

badwolf7

I see two problems with this:
  1. Given it's only there once, how do we know that insignia is directly tied to the Caribbean Assassins?
  2. Apart from it being set in stone, I don't see any distinguishing features that separate it from a normal insignia.
Also, there's no need to discuss the same topic in multiple places. Stormbeast The Helpful Place
Answers to your points
1) The insignia is in the Assassins Headquaters in the Carribean, I would say that this would be the symbol for the branch of the order, its under their own feet on the training courtyard.
2) If you look at the image, which i have taken directly from the game, you can see on either side of the outside edge is a distinct shame and design, (the right hand side looks like "G") this is clearly a designed insignia to represent Mayan culture in the west indies.
2) This insignia also differs as it hasnt got the wide pointed design of the basic insignia
