From Italy to the US[edit source]
Is the Altair II the ship that brought William and the rest of his crew from Italy to the US, and maybe from the US to Brazil and Egypt? Pipewrench (talk) 16:00, October 26, 2015 (UTC)
Ship name[edit source]
Isn't the ship name Altair II, not Altaïr II? The ship has the name written and it doesn't have the umlaut. Just because Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's name is spelled like that, it doesn't mean the ship is. α Aquilae is written Altair, without the umlaut, for example. — Zero-ELEC (talk) 16:42, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
- I swore I saw an umlaut here. I thought if you named a ship after someone, you used the same spelling. Perhaps I was wrong? But Bovkaffe moved/renamed the page, so I followed naming example in links, categories. Darman (talk) 17:25, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
- The "I" doesn't have the umlaut. It looks the same as the "II" following it. Was there another source that Bovkaffe got that from? Also, Darman, it was a bit premature to ask to delete the previous category, until this is figured out. Stormbeast ♉ The Helpful Place 22:06, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
- Should I restore the category, then? DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 22:13, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
- Might as well just hold off, again, til we get this figured out. Stormbeast ♉ The Helpful Place 22:15, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry Stormbeast, I thought what Bovkaffe did was Admin/Bureau approved. Apologies, I didn't mean to cause confusion. I guess I hold off undoing my previous link edits here? Darman (talk) 00:22, March 1, 2016 (UTC)
If Surveillance entries are transcribed correctly it has the umlaut. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 03:29, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
