Talk:Élise de la Serre
Elise and Arno's love[edit source]
How is Elise and Arno going to be a love story? They both know that they are working for their sworn enemy. They are gonna have to keep really secret about their hidden love and maybe even fight their own brothers for it. Something is definitely going to give in their relationship (sorry for my poor grammar),
Also if Elise was fully aware of her father being a templar and was trained by them wouldnt Elise be very angry and sad that her mentors and brothers are killed by Arno?Hassan-i Sabbā (talk) 06:47, August 14, 2014 (UTC)
They both kill themselves like Romeo & Juliet?<theproclamation> (talk) 07:21, August 14, 2014 (UTC)
No. It has been stated by the developers that Arno was adopted by Elise's father (a Templar Grandmaster) when his father died. When Elise's father was killed in a coup within the Templar Order, Arno joined the Assassins to cope with his guilt while Elise, who was probably in the Templars already, started looking for answers within the Templar order to get revenge on whoever killed her father. 93.186.156.191 15:32, August 14, 2014 (UTC)trainkun2313
Pendant[edit source]
Where is it stated that she got her pendant from Jennifer?--Bovkaffe (talk) 21:01, November 19, 2014 (UTC)
- It's from the Unity novel, apparently. Crook The Constantine District 21:02, November 19, 2014 (UTC)

Burial Site[edit source]
Anyone know where the cemetery in the final cutscene is? I've been trying to find it somewhere on the map, just be appease my curiousity. MasterKenway (talk) 03:26, December 1, 2014 (UTC)
Interesting... so I did some looking and found that the game introduced a second "world", if you will, for the final cutscene: a similar landscape, with marginal differences in details, textures, etc. She is buried in Le Cimetière des Innocents, just as the novel states - but check this out.

The picture on the top is captured from the epilogue video, after completing the storyline. The bottom picture is of the same location in an open-world exploration. Note how the background and surrounding objects have been changed slightly, and the tombstones are completely absent.
So the de la Serres are buried under a pile of bones and skulls, for all intents and purposes. I almost wish I hadn't been so curious...

Look around the De La Serre estate...I think all of the De La Serres' are buried there when I looked around after the epilogue 90.200.160.111 12:28, January 11, 2015 (UTC)FM
Wonderful Artworks[edit source]
Wonderful artworks created by Stéphane Turgeon and shared by Anouk Bachman about Elise from the French version of the ACUnity novel.
Got the from Access The Animus(Facebook), so I don't have the actual source.--ACsenior (talk) 16:22, January 7, 2015 (UTC)

Grand Master?[edit source]
The game says that Lafrenière is the Grand Master of the Moderate faction, but in the novel it is different and the Wiki generally accepts the game info as more accurate, such as Cristina dying in the II novel without Ezio even noticing while in the game she dies in his arms. Master of the Night (talk) 16:44, October 16, 2016 (UTC)
- Lafrenière was the advisor of Élise's father and an ally of her. Yes, he was a Templar leader but not an official Grand Master Marcos Martín 17:35, October 16, 2016 (UTC)
- I don't think Élise was ever a Grand Master. While the title fell to her after François' death since she was his heir apparent, she waited too long to formally claim the title proper, allowing Germain to grab power. As for Lafrenière, if anything, I think his title of Grand Master was self-appointed. As one of François's trusted advisors, he could provide the disorganized Moderate faction with interim leadership in-line with what François likely would've wanted.
- EDIT: This topic was covered here some while ago. Staff struck her from the Grand Master list.--Darman (talk) 18:35, October 16, 2016 (UTC)
- Whoops I completely forgot about these discussions when adding her back. However I think they leave out an important point for considering her one. The author describes her as Grand Master in the character list which is from an OoU standpoint. Unfortunately due to how Ubisoft creates new canon, it is unlikely to have been reinforced in later materials like the magazines. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 14:04, April 11, 2020 (UTC)
