Nimlot's Sword

Nimlot's Sword was a sword used by the merchant Nimlot, the son of Mas'ood Al-Ya'qoob and the true leader of the robbers that plagued the region of Al-Ula in the 860s.[1]

In the 860s, following an encounter with his father's murderer, the Hidden One Basim ibn Ishaq, Nimlot had his father, Ishaq kidnapped and brought to his hadquarters at the Roman Fort Ruins. There, Nimlot confronted Basim when he arrived to rescue Ishaq, perishing in the process. Basim then took Nimlot's sword as a reward.[1]
