Insight Editions is an American publisher known for visually stunning and creatively diverse books across genres, specializing in captivating works that span pop culture, art, literature, and entertainment.

First partnering with Ubisoft in 2014, Insight Editions published two tie-in books presented as in-universe lore, Blackbeard's Lost Journal written by Christie Golden but said to have been written by Blackbeard and his deckhand and scribe Charles Johnson, and the Abstergo Industries: Employee Handbook also by Golden. The reference book Assassin's Creed: The Complete Visual History was published in 2015 and a coloring book in 2016.
