Iapetos was a Titan in the Greek mythology.

During the Peloponnesian War, a pirate trireme was named after the Titan.

When the misthios Kassandra visited the simulation of Elysium, she also found a place dedicated to the Titan.

• Homer mentions Iapetos in his Iliad as the brother of Kronos, trapped in Tartaros along with him.
