Felipe Calderón
Felipe de Jesús Calderón Hinojosa (born 1962) is a Mexican politician who served as the 63rd president of Mexico from 2006 to 2012.

On 7 September 2012, during his last year of presidency President Calderón promised better border security along the Mexico–United States border. This was in an effort to quell the amount of illegal immigrants entering Mexico, however this only increased tensions between American refugees and the Mexican border patrol. The issue was reported by the Abstergo News Wire Services, subscribed to by Abstergo Industries Animus Project head, Warren Vidic who received the article in an email the same day.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Felipe Calderón, while not named in Warren Vidic's emails in the 2007 video game Assassin's Creed, was the incumbent President at the time of release and during the time the game was set, 2012.
