Wasn't Ahmet the grandmaster as well? Why isn't he here? Wierdperson31 (talk) 05:49, February 10, 2013 (UTC)

No, Ahmet was not a Grand Master. He was the leader of the Byzantine Templars, but not a Grand Master. I asked Darby McDevitt, the writer of ACR, about this, and he told me he did not write Ahmet to be a Grand Master. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 06:58, February 10, 2013 (UTC)
So, what about Haytham? He's listed as Grandmaster, yet he was just in charge of the colonial Templars. I understand he kinda gets Birch killed, but they named him successor after that?
Also, Bouchart. I know this is a work of fiction, but are we sure he was Grandmaster and not just in charge of Cyprus? Wierdperson31 (talk) 07:24, February 10, 2013 (UTC)

Bouchart and Haytham are Grand Masters because they are stated as such within the media of the franchise, Ahmet has never been, so he does not qualify. Slate Vesper (talk) 08:12, February 10, 2013 (UTC)

Just a little clarification - In Forsaken, just after arriving in Boston, Haytham wrote in his journal about how he was the Grand Master of the Colonial Rite from that point on. ~ GI Auditore Comms Channel 09:14, February 10, 2013 (UTC)
