Casimir Lai

Casimir Lai was a military musician of the French Foreign Legion who participated in the Battle of Camarón. Although many soldiers in the French Army were killed or taken prisoner, Casimir was the only one who was rescued by reinforcements. His mission was to protect a crystal skull, which he smuggled out of Mexico in his drum.^[1]
