They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me Caretaker (imposter).

This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias.

The individual who posed as the Caretaker of Ardos was a man doing the bidding of the Cult of Kosmos.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Around 422 BCE, the Cult of Kosmos kidnapped the real caretaker of Ardos, taking him to their base at the Phaistos Theater to be interrogated. In order to lure Ardos back, the Cult had another man pose as the caretaker.[1]

Some time later, the Spartan misthios Kassandra encountered the imposter and immediately knew he was not the real caretaker, having expected an elderly man. Kassandra threatened the man for the location of the real caretaker, which he eventually gave to her. Kassandra then departed for Phaistos Village to rescue the caretaker.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

In the memory "Full Circle", players are given the option to kill or spare the fake caretaker; his death does not affect the storyline in any meaningful way.
