Alligator eggs were eggs that were found in alligator nests throughout the Louisiana Bayou.

During her career as an Assassin, Aveline de Grandpré first came across an alligator in 1766, while paddling through the swamps of the Bayou in a canoe alongside Élise Lafleur. After Aveline wrestled the beast and killed it with her Hidden Blade, Élise suggested that the Assassin take the eggs as a prize, following which Aveline continued the practice and amassed a vast collection.[1]
After gathering numerous alligator eggs, Aveline received the Traveler's Hat from a tailor. While she wore it, the alligators avoided her.[1]
