The Aellengi were a bandit tribe that was situated at the Anderitum Hideout, Suthsexe in the 9th century. In the 870s, the bandits were visited by the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir, who killed them, navigated through their base's tunnels to find and open a chest, and acquired vambraces that belonged to a Roman Hidden One.
