Adi Shankar (@bootleguniverse) on Facebook "I'm happy to let you guys know that I've selected my next project! I played the first edition of Assassin's Creed the year I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream. At that moment I knew absolutely no one in the industry and could never have imagined that one day Ubisoft would ask me to take the world of Assassin's Creed and create an original story set in it as an anime series. If anyone tells you not to follow your passion in life they are wrong." (screenshot)

Adi Shankar (@adishankarbrand) on Twitter "This kind of thing is exactly why I develop my projects independently. I control every step of the process and only then, when I'm ready, I show up to the network with my fully baked vision and go "This is what we're doing … Are you in or are you out." This is one of the reasons my Devil May Cry series is 🔥. It wasn't made by a committee it's my singular vision. #DevilMayCry" (screenshot)

Adi Shankar (@adishankarbrand) on Twitter "@assassinpikachu I'm not working on the Assassin's Creed anime. My vision for Assassin's Creed was a cyberpunk world where the Templars won and controlled society—that story became Captain Laserhawk. Fluffy (@assassinpikachu) on Twitter "@adishankarbrand Wow. That's great. Sorry for asking about it for a while. I thought it was just straight-up canceled or was in development hell but couldn't say anything due to a possible NDA. Thank you for replying to me about this." (screenshot)
