Queen of Pirates, King of Fools was a virtual representation of one of Edward Kenway's genetic memories, relived by a research analyst at Abstergo Entertainment through the Animus.
Description[edit | edit source]
After Upton Travers' drunken display, he sobered up and resolved that both Jing Lang and his brother Vance had to die.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
- Edward: Hm, you're looking better than last we met.
- Upton: As I sobered up, I began to see it more clearly. Jing has led my brother astray, and must be killed. But Vance has also betrayed me. As an Assassin his treachery must be punished by death.
- Edward: So either way, one of them has the Templar key. You're obviously distraught. Let me take care of it.
- Upton: I will tell you where to find them.
Edward located and assassinated Vance Travers.
- Vance: Traitor!
- Edward: It takes one to know one.
Vance died and Jing Lang revealed herself.
- Edward: Jing Lang, as I live and breathe!
- Jing: I told him not to hire you! You traitor! I will not meet the same fate.

Edward pursued and assassinated the Templar.
- Jing: Imagine. The Queen of Pirates, Jing Lang, defeated for a fake map. I have been arrogant.
- Edward: Really?
- Jing: Yes. I stole the real one. Both halves. My husband has it.
- Edward: Your husband?
- Jing: A better man than these fools.
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Edward assassinated both Vance Travers and Jing Lang, and acquired a Templar key.
