Biography[edit | edit source]
Erudito field agent[edit | edit source]
At some point before 2016, My'shell joined the Erudito collective, an organization of hackers and truth seekers operating on the web.[1]
After the collective discovered that the Templars's Phoenix Project was infitrated by the Instruments of the First Will, who wanted to use it to create a new body for the nefarious Juno, Erudito's leader, Florencia, decided to reorganize the collective toward a more militant way. To do so, she decided to cut with Erudito's rule of staying in the shadows and My'shell voluntered to be trained as one of Erudito's new field agents.[1]
Alliance with the Assassins[edit | edit source]

Acting as the sparring partners of a recovering Galina Voronina, My'shell and Sheed received additional training from the skilled Assassin in the Argentinian complex of Erudito. Following the formal alliance between their organizations, the two operatives were sent with Voronina to capture the rogue Assassin Joseph Laurier in Somalia.[1]
Once in Somalia, the team infiltrated a inauguration ceremony attended by Zerha Okur, a local Templar, after they discovered that Laurier was in the country to kill her. Using a facial recognition software, the team waited for their prey but instead were fooled by the experienced Assassin. Indeed, having spotted them, Laurier hacked the software and sent Sheed and Galina on a false match on the docks near the inauguration site.[2]

Now alone, My'shell failed to capture Laurier as he was about to kill Okur, the rogue assassin stabbing her shoulder before he fled back to the docks where he subdued Sheed. As Galina and My'sheel engaged Laurier, Sheed used the diversion to recover his gun and took aim at the renegade. While Galina was ordering Sheed to kill Laurier, My'shell received a message from Erudito alerting the members of the collective that their HQ was attacked by the Templars. Hearing Sheed arguing with My'shell about his unwillingness to follow Erudito's protocol and hide, Laurier offered to help them in order to save Charlotte de la Cruz.[3]
However, upon their arrival above the island, Laurier's jet was shot down by the Templars and Sheed died in the crash. Playing dead, My'shell was used as a bait so the Assassins could ambush the Templars sent to investigate the crash site. As Laurier and Voronina were bickering over their next move, M'shell convinced that the best course of action was to take down the Templar warship that shot down their plane and would prevent any future escape from the island.[4]

My'shell and the Assassins assaulted the frigate, killing the Templars who were onboard. However, during the fight, Laurier was badly burned by an explosion which destroyed the ship. After Laurier told them that he could not go further and that they had to left him to die, My'shell and Voronina left to rescue their friends. Back to their destroyed plane, the two women reunited with the survivors of the Templar assault only to discover that de la Cruz wasn't with them. At the same moment an Assassin rescue team sent by Gavin Banks, consisting of Arend Schut Cunningham and Kiyoshi Takakura, arrived in a helicopter and picked up the group. Later, they rescued Charlotte de la Cruz who was then cornered on another part of the island by Templars led by Ortega Sanchez, killing them all with the chopper's machine gun.[4]
Joining the Brotherhood[edit | edit source]

By February 2017, My’shell Lemair had committed herself to the Assassin Brotherhood and developed a close friendship with Charlotte de la Cruz. She was placed under the mentorship of Galina Voronina, who trained her in combat and freerunning on the rooftops of London. Kiyoshi Takakura and Arend Schut-Cunningham observed My'shell’s skills during these sessions. Their training was interrupted when Charlotte de la Cruz contacted them from a safehouse. Charlotte, who was on a mission in Hong Kong, explained that the operation had gone awry, leaving her and Guernica Moneo as the only survivors after a sudden and intense confrontation with an unknown group of assailants. She requested immediate extraction and clarified that the mission appeared to have been a setup, though the motives behind the attack remained unclear.[5]

The following month, My’shell met up with Charlotte in London at a local pub. Over drinks, they discussed why My’shell wanted to become an Assassin and what it meant to her.[5]
Later, at there London safehouse, the Assassins reviewed media reports, including one about a large explosion in Berlin. Kiyoshi suggested that the attack did not align with Templar ideals, raising the possibility of another faction’s involvement. My’shell then presented a list of Pieces of Eden recovered from the Hong Kong Abstergo lab, showing an image of the Koh-i-Noor. Charlotte recognized it as the "mountain glimmer" mentioned in a message from Consus. Through research My’shell believed that the Koh-i-Noor was involved in the Spanish Civil War, prompting Charlotte to use a makeshift Animus to investigate further by diving into her bloodline. However, the machine malfunctioned, trapping Charlotte inside the simulation.[5]
Guernica returned to the Assassin hideout to find Charlotte stuck inside the Animus. My’shell had repaired the malfunctioning machine using unverified Abstergo parts, prompting concerns that the Animus might be compromised. Guernica instructed the Assassins to seek out Felix Oladele, a contact within Abstergo Montreal who specialized in Animus extractions. Kiyoshi and Arend traveled to Montreal to find him.[5]

Meanwhile, My’shell, feeling responsible for Charlotte’s situation, sought answers regarding old Assassin accounts. In Geneva, Switzerland, she met with a banker who revealed that William Miles retained ownership of Vetulus De Montanis Ltd., but had been receiving substantial cash deposits from an Abstergo subsidiary. My’shell was directed to speak with Juhani Otso Berg, who had been waiting outside. After a brief hostile confrontation with the Templar, he was forced to confront a group of Assassins from the Instrument of the First Will. Despite the danger, My’shell managed to escape with Berg and return to the London safehouse.[5]
Upon returning to the hideout, My’shell was met with some suspicion from the other Assassins, particularly Galina, who questioned My’shell’s loyalty as she had been close friends with Guarnica for years who turned out to be traitorr working for Juno and had almost succeeded in assassinating Charlotte if it hadn't been for her intervention. However, they soon agreed to discuss matters over breakfast. Berg shared his findings, revealing that the Instruments of the First Will were manipulating both the Assassins and the Templars. He suggested a temporary truce to address their common enemy. The Assassins reluctantly agreed, and Charlotte used the Animus to relive the memories of her ancestor Ignacio Cardona during the Spanish Civil War, in search of the Koh-i-Noor, the key artifact in Juno's plans.[5]
Left Behind[edit | edit source]
By late 2018, the Assassins and Otso Berg had located the Koh-i-Noor but chose to leave My’shell behind in London, unsure of her loyalty. She remained in the safehouse, focusing on her training and engaging in conversation with Guernica, who started acting increasingly strange around her. He revealed that Assassins did not leave evidence behind and suggested that My’shell was alone. He also confessed that he wished for My’shell to join him in the new world his deity envisioned.[5]
Realizing that he was talking about the Assassins turned Instruments she came to the horrifying realization that the safehouse was no longer secure, My’shell fled, but not before the Instrument strike force arrived to eliminate Guernica. The strike force infiltrated the hideout, where they explained Guarnica they were going to kill him for being a lose end which enraged him as he still a loyal follower and didn't break during the interogation. My'shell who had a change of mind ambushed the Instruments taking them by surprise. Guernica assisted in the fight, but he was mortally wounded in the process. The safehouse was destroyed. As emergency services arrived, My’shell and Guernica reflected on their near-death experience. Despite Guernica's previous actions, My’shell couldn't forgive her old friend and chose regretfully to leave him behind on the rooftops of London, where he would succumb to his injuries.[5]
Personality and traits[edit | edit source]
Despite discovering that her friend Guernica had betrayed the Brotherhood and everything she stood for, My’shell still felt some regret about how their relationship had ended.[5]
Feeling responsible for Charlotte being trapped inside the Animus, My’shell took it upon herself to correct her mistakes and was willing to trust unlikely allies if the situation required it, even if they had direct opposite believe systems, such as the Templar Master Juhani Otso Berg.[5]
Skills and equipment[edit | edit source]
My’shell was a highly skilled computer technician.[6]
Like other Assassins, My’shell carried a Hidden Blade and trained in combat and freerunning under the mentorship of Galina Voronina. However, Voronina criticized her skills as lacking. My’shell later confided in her friend Charlotte de la Cruz, expressing that she found it unfair that Charlotte’s abilities seemed to be rooted in her bloodline, unlike her own, which were developed through personal training. This implied that My’shell might not have any Assassin ancestry and thus relied solely on her own skill set.[5]
