Missing Worker was a virtual representation of one of Bayek's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.

Description

Bayek was asked by the travelling merchant Reda to find a missing worker.

Dialogue

Bayek approached Reda's Nomad's Bazaar stall.

• Reda: A friend of mine went missing. Medjay, I would not ask but he would be missed by his family. Please find where he has gone.

• Reda: Medjay, you hear of that villager that went missing? I only ask because, like you, he's one of my favorite customers. Maybe you go looking for him? Maybe if you find him I'll have something nice for you. Maybe.

• Reda: Come Bayek. I heard tell of a local man who went missing. Being a generous man, I would be very happy if you were to find him. For the village, of course. Not because he is one of my informants.

Bayek found the missing worker's corpse.

• Bayek: This is the man Reda spoke of. Dead.

• Bayek: Here is Reda's man. Dead.

• Bayek: The man lies here, dead. Reda will be sad to hear of his passing.

Bayek returned to Reda.

• Reda: Dead men need no weapons, so how about you use his. Special order, it'll suit you just fine.

• Reda: He won't be needing this anymore, Medjay. Best give it to you. I'm sure you'll find a use for it.

• Reda: May he find peace in the Duat, Medjay. Since you found him, you can have the weapon I got for him special. He would have liked it that way.

Outcome

Bayek was rewarded with either a legendary or a rare weapon.
