A common trident in 5th century BCE Greece

The trident is a type of a spear with three tips.

History[edit | edit source]

During the Isu Era, the Isu crafted a Trident of Eden, comprised of three prongs that could respectively induce faith, fear, or devotion into the minds of humans. The Trident of Eden was lost after the Great Catastrophe and, millennia later, came to be wielded by the Macedonian king Alexander the Great. After Alexander's death, the three prongs were separated and exchanged hands many times over the centuries.[1]

In human mythologies, legendary weapons associated with gods of the sea like the Greek Poseidon[2] and the Roman Neptune[3] were often tridents, though regular tridents also existed and were commonly wielded by soldiers in antiquity.[4]
