Poseidon's Trident

Poseidon's Trident was a trident which was believed to have belonged to Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, and as such, control the seas.

Due to this belief, the trident was desired by many. However, it was hidden in a chest within the Temple of Poseidon on the Samian Island of Triton. During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found it there. Wielding the trident granted Kassandra the ability to swim underwater without running out of air indefinitely.[1]
