The Abstergo Financial Group, or simply Abstergo Financial, is a subsidiary of the greater Abstergo Industries conglomerate offering consumers and banks numerous money-related services. The Malta Banking Corporation forms part of the group.
In 2019, Abstergo Financial initiated Project Lighthouse, a secret program undertaken by its CEO Agneta Reider and her right-hand man Fahad Khan to take over the dark web. This program was exclusive to the branch as none of the Inner Sanctum knew of the project, and was ultimately foiled by the Assassins.[1]
