- Alright. I won't name any images with Weird Words again and i will try to write everything in here like a history books. and you don't mind if I create a combat guide on each Assassin's Creed games? I won't forget to put in OOU Template. —unsigned comment by Carazon1944 (talk · contr) 07:45, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for agreeing to abide by the Image Policies in the future. Unfortunately, this site is not the place for game guides, you'd be better posting that in forums elsewhere. Such information cannot be written in the style of school textbooks because it runs counter to these books' use as teaching tools rather than conveying gamer tips.
The wiki's objective is instead to be encyclopedic and lore-based. Just as you would not see Encyclopedia Britannica give pointers for Mario games in its Nintendo Co. Ltd. article, so too does this website at least strive to limit writing about gameplay functions like combat guides. The OOU template is used by editors to mark pages that need a severe cleaning because they still contain info that is yet to be reformatted—if possible—from the site's very early days when it was more like IGN guides or GameFAQ rather than its current focus to on the "history" presented in the series. – Darman (talk) 01:35, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

- If you’d like I have the backbone of project for a page about the different enemy types but framed in universe as archetypes generated specifically by the animus possibly to cut down on processing power. User:Lacrossedeamon/Animus Archetype. Unfortunately I’ve been having some writers block and lack of motivation regarding it thus leaving it limbo. But if you wanna play around in there a bit and see if you can whip it up to standards I’d be super grateful. At the least we could brainstorm about the preferred formatting or something. Ah, Very interesting It will be one hell of the page once its completed, I will be back every now and then expanding its though some of its has a very strange text written in Latin talking about Patient and Suffering. —unsigned comment by Carazon1944 (talk · contr) 09:52, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
- Haha sorry, “lorem ipsum” is used as placeholder text. It’s just there to judge a general size of the page and where to place the images. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 10:03, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
Writing
While the wiki appreciates your efforts thus far on the page about Bayek and Aya's hunt for the Egyptian Order of the Ancients, I strongly recommend that you please read the Manual of Style linked in the above Welcome template's "Policies" section before you continue with additions to the page. From our talks so far and what I've seen of your work, I'm not sure if English and its rules are your first language, or if it is, how familiar you are with the site's standards of writing.
You keep using the present tense without appropriate grammar and tend to describe almost everything characters do in a scene when a brief summary is sufficient. Other formatting issues, like images, captions, and sources are still a must here but are a bit less critical at the moment and can be fixed later since my focus is on text. I know the page is still very much a work in progress, as it was only just created, but all the standards in the Manual will make it easier for readers to understand what is written as well as minimize the amount of future cleaning other editors have to do. Thank you. – Darman (talk) 20:45, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
