Corrected spelling/grammar

Under "Siege of Masyaf", there is a line reading "Taking the village, slaughtering its inhabitants, and besieging the castle, Altaïr and several groups of Assassins ran to defend the village."

This is incorrect sentence structure and does not - strictly speaking - make any sense. The way this sentence is written implies that Altaïr and the other Assassins were the ones taking the village, slaughtering its inhabitants, etc.

This sentence is in desperate need of rephrasal. I reccomend "While the attacking templars were taking the village, slaughtering its inhabitants, and besieging the castle, Altaïr and several groups of Assassins ran to defend the village it." be substituted.

Altair's Age at the beginning

At first, I'm sorry for my bad english. I have read, that he is 25 years old at the beginning in Assassin's Creed 1, but his birthday is the 11. January 1165. He had met Robert de Sable in early 1191, so he must be 26 Years old at that time? I'm not sure, which information is correct?

Assassin's Creed could just as well have started on January 3. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 12:13, November 2, 2012 (UTC)

Okay, that could be possible. I have thought that Altair is for a longer time 25 years old, because the fact was so accentuated (because of Desmond) and the Assassin's Creed Revelations timeline has him reputedly being 26 during the second mission (I haven't played Revelations). It was my error in reasoning.

Why the old picture?

I was just wondering, given the site's usual rule of using the newest, retconned, or otherwise official image of a character for their article's cover photo (or whatever it's actually called), why Alair's pic is his render from the first game. I know Desmond's was changed back to the one from Brotherhood, as apposed to he his newer one from Revelations, but I thought that was because his face in that image bears more resemblance to his newer one in ACIII.

Getting slightly off topic. My point is, being that it's basically identical to how he looked in the first game, save being slightly more detailed, and having a glove on both hands (which is actually more accurate to how he's looked in-game throughout the whole series), his render from Revelations would be a better choice.

Hell, it even cleanly shows him from the front, which I'd imagine would be preferable to having his back turned to the point where you can barely see his face. Even if you dislike the changes they made to his face in Revelations, you can't really argue that here since his face is mostly shadowed, and it's impossible to tell the difference, really. I was actually going to just go ahead and change the image anyway since they are so similar, but realized there must be a reason for it not already being his image, and decided to ask everyone else first.

He also has what I think is a new render in his database entry in Assassin's Creed III, but it only shows him from about the mid thigh and up, so I guess that one's not really going to work.

Anyway, yeah, so should the image be changed, and if not, then why?
