The Nun's Minster

The Nun's Minster was an Anglo-Saxon church and an educational school for children, in Wincestre, Hamtunscire.
History
In 877, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan reconvened with the Reeve Goodwin and King Alfred at the Nun's Minster, after killing the Order member, The Gallows: Reeve Selwyn. Despite initial hostility, Eivor and Alfred talked any information about the next target, The Quill. All the information that was found was The Quill was using the children of Wincestre as her spies and thieves. Eivor promised to investigate as both Goodwin and Alfred left the minister. Behind her, Eivor realized a young girl was watching and asked the girl to come forward. Within their conversation, the girl asked Eivor for her "mother's" medallion, which Selwyn apparently took from her mother. Realizing better, Eivor did not give the medallion and soon followed the girl, who left the minister quickly after their conversation.[1]
Through her travels, Eivor went besides the minster and found a child, Esobert, atop the minster's scaffolding. After talking with the child, Eivor offered to help Esobert to acquire a tree's flower. Using the zipline, Eivor attained the flower and soon gave it to Esobert. Esobert went up to his crush and declared his gift as a playful hand for marriage to young Æthelflæd, King Alfred's daughter. Accompanied by her mother, Ealhswith, Æthelflæd accepted the flower as both mother and daughter soon left Esobert in good spirits.[2]
