The Bride was a virtual representation of one of Bayek's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.
Bayek hears a father denying his son from going to the old man in the village because he's supposedly a "Man-Beast", murdering people. Bayek wents in to investigate and notices the body parts came floating from the north. He entered a cave only to end up in a corpse-infested pit. He found a tribune with seats, apperently there to watch some kind of theater and soon heard a man cry out for help.
It turned out an embalmer feeds people to the crocodiles to entertain his guests. Bayek heads for the Greek Square and assasinates the culprit.
