Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service? This article is in desperate need of a revamp. Please improve it in any way necessary in order for it to achieve a higher standard of quality in accordance with our Manual of Style. |

Tailors were clothing merchants during the Italian Renaissance. Tailors upgraded Ezio's pouches, allowing him to carry more Medicine, Poison, Throwing Knives, Crossbow Bolts and Parachutes. They could also dye Ezio's clothes with various colors depending on the city or district.
15th century
Upgrading Pouches increased Ezio's carrying capacity of a certain item by 5. Generally, it was required to purchase a lower priced Pouch upgrade in order to access the higher priced ones. However, the Large Medicine Pouch could be purchased for 6000 florins (and upgrade capacity directly to 15) without purchasing the Medium Pouch for 3000 florins (which only upgrades capacity to 10).

Rome
The Tailors returned in Rome and were stocked with the original upgrades and dyes, as well as some new ones. However, Ezio's cape could now be dyed separately to the rest of his robes.
In addition, Tailors sold Ezio parachutes after he had destroyed all of Leonardo da Vinci's war machines. Different dyes were sold in each of the three main districts.
Two additional items were also sold only at tailors. Smoke bombs were made available by purchasing the smoke bomb pouch, and the Heavy Sheath allowed Ezio to carry Heavy weapons as primary weapons.

Constantinople
The Tailors returned once more in Constantinople, and were stocked with several new dyes, as well as previously existing upgrades. However, as Ezio's new robes lacked a cape, there was no option to for dyeing it.
In addition, Tailors now sold parachutes to Ezio right after his arrival in the city, as they became a standard part of his equipment. All tailors shared the same inventory, and all dyes were available in every part of the city.
Bomb ingredients were also sold, although only few types of them were available at the Tailor shops.

New Orleans
Tailors returned in New Orleans during the 18th century, providing Aveline de Grandpré with pouch upgrades for cartridges, smoke bombs and poison darts. Dyes were also available for each of Aveline's three personas, along with the option to equip an Assassin hood instead of the default hat.

Trivia
- The achievement "Perfect Harmony" can be obtained by dyeing Ezio's clothes with Wetlands Ebony and Wetlands Ivory, both of which are available in Forlì.
- The Wetlands Ebony dye closely resembles the bonus black dye obtained through the Assassin's Creed II mobile game.
- Dye prices in Monteriggioni change depending on how well you've renovated the Tailor's shop.
- Obtainable armors such as the Armor of Altaïr, Armor of Brutus, Armor of Ishak Pasha, the Master Assassin Armor, and the Helmschmied Drachen Armor are unaffected by dyes.
- Cosmetic outfits are also unaffected by dyes.
- Tailors are occasionally offensive to Ezio if he does not purchase anything, saying things such as, "Awwww, poorly dressed a little while longer!"
- According to the novelization of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Ezio became good friends with the Monteriggioni tailor, who was later killed during the siege.
- In British American Colonies, the Assassin Connor could purchase several dyes for his outfit in the general stores. Similarly, in French American Colonies, Aveline de Grandpré could purchase dyes for her Assassin, Slave and Lady outfits, as well as various headgear to be worn with her Assassin outfit.
