Assassin's Creed III: Liberation outfits
| What if this was all a construction? A masterfully crafted simulation? This article references the Assassin's Creed series in a real-world context, is written in the present tense, or is partly written in terms of gameplay. To maintain clear perspectives, revise the relevant section(s) so that out-of-universe content is in a "Behind the scenes" and the body adopts an in-universe past tense. |
In Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, several outfits are available to those who complete certain challenges or meet specific criteria, which are listed below. Similarly, several types of hats, which were exclusive to the Assassin persona, can also be unlocked. Once an outfit is unlocked and equipped, it will alter Aveline de Grandpré's appearance. Aveline could change her outfits at any tailor or in the de Grandpré warehouse's office.
Special outfits[edit | edit source]
Assassin outfit[edit | edit source]
Aveline's regular robes. Wearing the Assassin outfit gave Aveline access to her complete arsenal of weaponry and allowed for freerunning, but made her permanently notorious to some extent. The Assassin outfit could also be dyed at tailors in various color schemes.
Slave outfit[edit | edit source]
Aveline's slave guise. Wearing the Slave outfit gave Aveline free movement, but restricted her weaponry to some extent and caused her notoriety to rise quickly with each illegal act. In this persona, Aveline was able to blend with groups of people or by doing menial tasks. The Slave outfit could also be dyed at tailors in various color schemes.
Lady outfit[edit | edit source]
Aveline's noblewoman guise. Wearing the Lady outfit restricted Aveline's movements and weaponry, but it allowed her to use charm and bribery to achieve her goals. The Lady outfit could also be dyed at tailors in various color schemes.
Bayou Hunter outfit[edit | edit source]
An alternative to the Assassin outfit, the Bayou Hunter outfit was unlocked after stealing ten Assassins' coins from smugglers that were located in New Orleans and the Louisiana Bayou.
Chichen Itza Disguise outfit[edit | edit source]
An alternative to the Slave outfit, the Chichen Itza Disguise outfit was unlocked after pickpocketing ten voodoo dolls from houngans found in New Orleans and the Louisiana Bayou.
Charming Dress outfit[edit | edit source]
An alternative to the Lady outfit, the Charming Dress outfit was unlocked after collecting ten jeweled brooches from gentlemen stationed around New Orleans. When wearing the Charming Dress outfit, Aveline would receive a 50% discount on bribes.
Temporary outfits[edit | edit source]
New York outfit[edit | edit source]
Worn during the A Fool's Errand memory.
Hats[edit | edit source]
Assassin's Hat[edit | edit source]
A hat with a beak-shaped tip, the Assassin's Hat was equipped by default.
Smuggler's Hat[edit | edit source]
The Smuggler's Hat was unlocked after collecting the thirty diary pages scattered around New Orleans, the Louisiana Bayou and Chichen Itza. When wearing the Smuggler's Hat, Aveline would receive a 50% discount on any type of ammunition.
Traveler's Hat[edit | edit source]
The Traveler's Hat was unlocked after collecting the twelve alligator eggs in the Louisiana Bayou. When wearing the Traveler's Hat, Aveline would not be attacked by nearby alligators.
Alligator Hunter Hat[edit | edit source]
The Alligator Hunter Hat was unlocked through Uplay for 30 points.
Assassin's Hood[edit | edit source]
A hood with a beak-shaped tip, the Assassin's Hood could be purchased at any tailor for 500 écu.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Chichen Itza Disguise outfit had hoop earrings in the original Vita iteration, but these were removed for the HD remake.
