Sigurd Styrbjornson was the son of King Styrbjorn of Forberg. The husband of Randvi, he was also the older brother of Eivor, who was adopted by Styrbjorn following the death of their family.
While his sibling raided the lands of Southern England, Sigurd embarked a journey to raid the lands in the East.[1] While in Constantinople, Sigurd met and befriended a Hidden One named Basim, learning many of their customs. Circa 873, Sigurd returned home along with Basim, who gave a Hidden Blade to Eivor.[2]
