Odyssey

The Odyssey is an epic poem traditionally attributed to Homer. During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze bought a copy of this book from a book shop in Constantinople.

Summary

A 9th century BCE poem, passed on initially through the oral tradition, that recounts the adventures of King Odysseus as he attempts to return home after a decade of war. Sadly, things do not pan out well for the king and he spends another decade battling Gods, Giants, Sirens, Cyclopses, and all the while wondering if his wife hasn't sold the house and moved back with her parents.[1]
