The Odyssey is an epic poem traditionally attributed to Homer. During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze bought a copy of this book from one of the several book shops in Constantinople.

Summary

A 9th century BCE poem, passed on initially through the oral tradition, that recounts the adventures of King Odysseus as he attempts to return home after a decade of war. Sadly, things do not pan out well for the king and he spends another decade battling Gods, Giants, Siren (mythology)|Sirens, Cyclopses, and all the while wondering if his wife hasn't sold the house and moved back with her parents.[1]
