Mjölnir, was a unique Hammer of Eden, weaponry artifacts created by the Isu scientist Hephaestus to fight during the War of Unification. This Piece of Eden was the personal weapon of the Norse Isu Thor and granted him great power, and was later found by the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir.

History

Mjölnir was created by Hephaestus, "the maker", during the Isu Era to bring about the end of the War of Unification.[2] Its first wielder was Thor, an Isu belonging to a Northern European group of Isu called the Æsir after their home Asgard which included Tyr and Odin, until his possible death along with the rest of the Æsir in an unknown event during the Great Catastrophe which they called Ragnarök. Thor used his hammer in tandem with his personal set of armor. After Thor's death, it was stuck into the side of a mountain range in Hordafylke, Norway.[1]

Millennia later in the late-9th century CE, Mjölnir was recovered and claimed by the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir, a member of the Raven Clan, a Norse clan that relocated to England to escape the rule of a unified Norway. After reclaiming each piece of Thor's armor from various strong enemies across England, she returned to Norway to claim Mjölnir as her own.[1]
