The Milanese Sword

The Milanese Sword was a sword attributed to Milan, Italy.

History

In late 15th century, the Italian Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze purchased the blade from a blacksmith in Florence, Venice, Forlì, San Gimignano, or Monteriggioni.[1][2] He later lost it, but bought another in Rome during his attempt to erode the Borgia's power.[3] In 1511, when Ezio's search for the library of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad had led him to a Templar ambush and the subsequent loss of his gear, Ezio regained the blade in Constantinople.[4]

Behind the scenes

In Assassin's Creed: Revelations, the weapon could be unlocked via Uplay, upon which it would be added to the armory inside the Galata headquarters.

In Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, due to the Animus modification, the Spartan misthios Kassandra gained the blade.[2]
