Leofrith was a thegn who served King Burgred of Mercia during the late 9th century, until the king's deposal by the Vikings' Great Heathen Army lead by Ubba Ragnarsson and Ivarr the Boneless, with help from Sigurd Styrbjornson, Eivor, Ceolwulf II, and his son, Ceolbert.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Leofrith is a character in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. If players choose to spare Leofrith in the memory Heavy is the Head, he can later be encountered in Lincolnshire, where he awaits a boat to take him to Rome to deal with Burgred.
