Hilde was an Norse woman who living in Vinland during the 9th century.
History
When Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir traveled with Nessa to Vinland in order to search for Maegester Gorm Kjotvesson of the Order of the Ancients, she met taskmaster Hilde on the shores of Nyhofn. Lying about her identity and reason of coming to Vinland, Eivor learned about Olav the Unlucky's disappearance from a conversation between Hilde and another resident.[1] After assassinating Gorm, Eivor returned to Nyhofn together with Olav and learned Hilde is his sister.[2]
