―Alexis' final words, 403 BCE[src]-[m]

Alexis (died 403 BCE) was an Athenian soldier under general Thrasybulus in his revolt against the Thirty Tyrants.

Biography

During the Battle of Munychia, Alexis was fatally wounded, due to the Spartans surprising them by attacking from the flank, deviating from the "Spartan way" they expected. Though he was able to kill the soldier who had injured him and received some first aid, he did not survive.[1]
