Edmund Judge

Edmund Judge (c. 1730 – 1784) was a Templar doctor who became a target of the Assassin Aveline de Grandpré.

In 2013, his genetic memories were used as an Animi Avatar by the entertainment branch of the Templar company Abstergo Industries, to influence the general public via the Animus game console, under the title of the Physician.

Biography

In 1784, Judge captured Patience Gibbs and imprisoned her in Fort Washington, determined to obtain her mother's charm, a Piece of Eden that enabled her to stay a step ahead of her opponents. But at the same time, Aveline de Grandpré, a French-African Assassin, freed Patience, who attempted to escape on her own, only to be recaptured by Judge. The doctor then forced Patience into giving up her charm, before leaving his men to dispose of her as they saw fit.

Judge made his way through the tunnels leading to Newport Tower, where he recited Patience's mother's hymn in hopes of activating the charm, but it failed. Aveline and Patience soon confronted the doctor and assassinated him. With his last breath, Judge lamented he wasted his life on a "dirty piece of savagery."

Final words

Edmund: My life for a dirty piece of savagery.
