Akami Shi Waterfalls

The Akami Shi Waterfalls are a series of waterfalls in Mie Prefecture, Japan. During the Sengoku period, they were situated in the southern Nabari Wilds in Iga Province.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe visited the waterfalls and found maggots near the top under Matsu's instructions. She collected them to treat the injuries of a young girl named Murasaki, whom she had saved earlier, and returned to the cabin where Matsu, Murasaki, and her grandfather Yoshiharu were located.[1]

While in the area, Naoe also heard music playing in the distance and approached the musician, learning their song for Shinobu to play back at the Kakushiba ikki's hideout.[2]
