Adam was a hybrid member of the human race created by the First Civilization. He was born, along with Eve, in the final years of the First Civilization, who had decided to create two hybrid humans, a man and a woman, to preserve their DNA. He was a distant ancestor of Clay Kaczmarek[1] and Desmond Miles.[2] As stated by William Miles during Desmond's experiences in the black room of the Animus, Desmond contains high concentrations of First Civilization DNA in his genes.

As seen in the 'Truth' video of Assassin's Creed II, Adam and Eve rebelled against their creators in a First Civilization city called Eden, where they climbed the building in the centre, and stole an Apple of Eden, seemingly from a First Civilization being that was controlling humans inside the building. Once at the top of the building, Eve turns around and says "Adam, I have it", and shows him the Apple.

Adam responds saying "Eve" before they are stopped by an unknown force.
