Adam
Adam was a member of the human race created by the First Civilization. He was a distant ancestor of Clay Kaczmarek[1] and Desmond Miles.[2]
Adam (along with Eve) was one of the hybrid humans the First Civilization created in order to preserve their DNA. He contained half of the DNA sequence while Eve contained the other half. This DNA has been passed down through the Assassin bloodline, granting the Assassins who contained this DNA to develop Eagle Vision and other First Civilization abilities like the power to resist the Pieces of Eden. This DNA line has passed down from Adam to Desmond, as his father William Miles stated that Desmond contained large concentrations of First Civilization DNA. If Desmond was to find a descendant of Eve, who contained the other half of the DNA sequence, and they were to conceive children, it could mark the rebirth of an entire civilization.
Since Adam and Eve were able to resist the effects of the Pieces of Eden, they rebelled against the First Civilization to free humanity. They stole one of the "Apples of Eden" and tried to escape Eden, before they were stopped by something unknown.[1] This was shown in the Truth video of Assassin's Creed II, in a video recording of a memory experiences by Clay during his time at Abstergo, which he later took and placed in his glyphs to warn the next Assassin next the Templars captured.
Adam and Eve's rebellion was the first recorded act of human liberty, which may mean that they were the very first Assassins.
