The Mount Ithome Fort was a military fort on Mount Ithome in Messenia, Greece.

History

During the Peloponnesian War, the fort was infiltrated by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who eliminated the soldiers and claimed their valuables. While there, she also discovered a letter from the Tusk of Persia to the captain of the fort demanding respect for the Persian soldiers. As the letter revealed the locations of a number of Persian military units in Messenia, Kassandra took it upon herself to deal with them.

Some of these military units were located within the fort itself, and Dimokrates, a Magus of the Order of Dominion branch of the Order of the Ancients, as well as his two compatriots frequented the fort as well.
