JOEL EASTMAN – I still don't like it. I wish we could wreck that thing.
TATYANA DANE – So do I. But Maeda thinks this could work out better than we hoped. Think about it. The Templars want to create an AI that believes as they do, and have it rewrite history. But if that AI ends up believing as we do...
JOEL EASTMAN – The god of the Animus will be an Assassin.
TATYANA DANE – And it will be so entwined with the system that they'll have to basically delete the Animus if they want to get rid of it. Now won't they be fucking furious about that?
JOEL EASTMAN – So Maeda and Ortiz are ready to go. Where will I be?
TATYANA DANE – You're coming to the blacksite with me, Baba and Elu. Bas and Poul are going to take care of Ortiz's family.
JOEL EASTMAN – Do we have a way in?
TATYANA DANE – Maeda's sent us the plans. We're going to meet her halfway. There's a briefing tonight but... well. It's not going to be easy. Place is a security nightmare. Once we go in, we'll be lucky to get out.
JOEL EASTMAN – (SILENCE)
TATYANA DANE – You sure you're ready for this?
JOEL EASTMAN – No. But I'm going to do it anyway.
