Old Dagger

The Old Dagger was a well-used dagger employed by one of the guards at Musa ibn Nusayr Fort in Al-Ula.

In the 860s, the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq looted the short blade and a sword from the guard while escaping his imprisonment under the orders of 'Abis. Locating the prison master in his room, Basim used the dagger to assassinate him, though not without also sustaining injuries.
